Overcome the stress of modern-day life by taking control of your thoughts and feelings

No words can adequately describe meditation. Meditation is something which can occur naturally or spontaneously to provide a sense of oneness or connectedness. Meditation can also result from the practice of concentration. Concentration becomes meditation when the practitioner looses the distinction between the self and the object of concentration.

Meditation when it occurs naturally or spontaneously may be likened to a gift from spirit, an insight or revelation which may never be repeatable. Meditation when sought through regular practice over time becomes easier and very rewarding. With practice, meditation is a valuable tool to ease stress and to gain insight and direction in life.

In this class you will practice letting go of the stresses of your everyday life, learn to sit in stillness in various postures and acquire the strength to breathe deeply to heal your body and mind.
